Before establishing Israel Properties, Toviyah and Shirley Stamelman built their foundation in South Africa - one of the most highly regulated real estate environments in the world.

Toviyah was trained and worked alongside some of the top professionals in the industry, Trained by the best of the best and gaining exposure to best-in-class practices at the highest level and operated as one of the most successful exclusive selling agents in the Industry for over 15 years a multi award winning real estate agent.

He went on to establish and run Stamelman Properties for over 15 years, building a respected independent real estate business known for professionalism, integrity, and results that competed against the top corporate estate agencies.

Over a career spanning more than 25 years, including 15 years as a principal, he became one of the top independent real estate providers, operating within a profession governed by strict rules, legal frameworks, and compliance standards - where transactions are structured with a level of precision comparable to legal documentation in Israel.

 

This foundation shaped everything:

• A deep respect for process and compliance

• The ability to structure and negotiate complex transactions

• A commitment to doing things properly - not just quickly

 

Raising the Standard of the Industry

At the same time, Shirley Stamelman played a pivotal role in professionalising the real estate industry.

 

With over 25 years of experience in business, training, and leadership, Shirley helped lead the industry through a major transition:

To a regulated, qualification-based profession

She established and led national training centres, responsible for training and qualifying leading real estate professionals and companies  across the country.

Shirley holds an Honours Degree in Psychology and brings high-level expertise in project management, human behaviour, and client experience - combining structured thinking with a deep understanding of people and process.
