Hello Everyone!
I hope this finds you all safe, healthy, and well.
I write to you from my home in Israel.
When Pearl Harbor was attacked on December 7, 1941, President Roosevelt declared that "it was a date that will live in infamy".
On October 7, 2023, on the holiday of Simchat Torah, Israel fell under a barrage of rocket attacks from Gaza while Israel's southern border was breached by armed terrorists who proceeded to capture kibbutzim and small towns, while slaughtering, torturing, raping, burning, and kidnapping innocent Israeli civilians.
Over 1400 Israelis were slaughtered, over 2200 wounded and 239 taken hostage.
The elderly, women, children, babies, anyone in their path. They made no distinction. October 7, 2023, "a day that will live in infamy" is Israel's Pearl Harbor.
Since that day, Israel has mobilized its army and citizens for war. Since that day Jews around the world have fallen under the existential threat that is the result of a modern-day blood libel which fuels the most violent antisemitism, and we all know where that can lead.
I write you this not to make you despair but rather to bring about the unity of our people by raising our spirits and by finding inspiration and strength.
It has become obvious to me that many people are ignorant of the history of modern-day Israel. This lack of knowledge enables our enemies to spread false narratives of Israel, Israelis and Jews as colonizers, stealers of land that does not belong to them. It is time to dispel this myth.
Those of you who know me know that I am an Israeli real estate lawyer. I also deal in historic preservation of historical buildings and neighborhoods. In order to do this work I have learned the history of Israel. In the blog article attached I will give you a brief history of Israel.
I hope it will give you clarity and perspective as to Israel and the Jews.
My son was called to army reserve duty and has been stationed with other soldiers since October 7th, leaving 3 small children at home. I, like other lawyers and businesspeople, who are not called up to fight are working to maintain our country's economy in these hard times while taking care of our families.
I am here for you, if you have any needs concerning Israeli real estate, inheritance, and the preservation of historical buildings.
If you have any questions about real estate in Israel, feel free to contact me at nicole@levinlawoffices.co.il. Or schedule a 30 minute free consultation meeting through https://calendly.com/nicole-gy4
Together we will get through this. Am Yisrael Chai! Nicole Levin, Adv.
Iāve come across a narrative presented by Palestinians, suggesting that Israelis are colonizers. They claim that until 1948, the land now known as Israel belonged to them. They argue that the Jews stole their land and labeled them as colonizers.
