There are many great cities to live in Israel. We have very good friends in Jerusalem, Modiin, Ranaana, Netanya, Efrat and many other places. I love all them. Each has their own uniqueness and beauty, and I'm sure we would be happy in each of them.

Nevertheless, 20 years ago, my wife and I chose Ramat Bet Shemesh to be our home.

We first started off in Jerusalem. We loved every minute, but as our family grew we decided we wanted a bigger place, with a garden, parks on every street corner, good schools in walking distance and a city that was commutable to both Jerusalem and Tel Aviv.

Not only did Ramat Bet Shemesh fulfil all these criteria, it also proved to be a stunning location, surrounded by beautiful hills, multiple hiking routes, mountain biking and so much more, just minutes away.

Add to that, the many friendly and welcoming communities. We made a good choice.

Ramat Bet Shemesh has flourished and grown in the 20 years we have been living there, but it still has the small town feel, the country air, the stunning views and friendly community.
